I'll dig out some pics but Ive just noticed a huge error in my post, the raspberry ice is a young 3 years old and not a young 93 years old LOL, not sure where the 9 came from.

A bad pic from back in the good old days. This was 'Scarlet O'Hara' that I had clambering through a Phoenix for several years. It was planted in near dust dry soil at the base of an old stone wall and seemed to thrive, despite regularly suffering from damp induced boytritus on young buds by late winter. Unfortunately, a prolonged wet winter in 2004/5 saw it off.

Heres a couple of glabra and I found this one of the raspberry ice.
I have a few big glabras and they are just unbeatable next to the citrus plants.
