Happy Christmas to you all!

Post by charlie »

Hope you are all hanging in there and are safely where you are supposed to be. 23rd was a wild day here but today is looking a lot better. No damages I can see so I hope everyone has been as fortunate :)

And from me too.

We seem to miss the worst of the weather here when it's windy - it's the worst of the cold that we seem to cop.

Happy New Year to you all. Winds of over a hundred miles an hour here! My neighbour's 6' x 10' greenhouse blew away. Plenty of trees down, oh the joys of living on the west coast.

We have been incredibly lucky down here, most of the bands of wind and rain have passed through at night, bad though they have been so far (his says touching wood :) ) we have remained undamaged

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New year. We've been relatively lucky up here. Though I did have to pop a large pane of toughened glass back into the greenhouse yesterday. Luckily it's very strong stuff so was undamaged and slotted back in no problems.

Happy New Year to everyone - hope you all survive the horrible winter to come - all this awful weather coming from the USA!! Chilly here at 28c and a wet December with 17 inches of rain making a total of 111 inches, 2819mm for the year - less than average. Family coming to stay in February and 3 family birthdays around that time - it is also CARNIVAL in February so it will be a total party month. Just time to chill out and work on my tan before they arrive!!

So far its been lightening strikes taking out the electric, broadband and phone, just the network card on the computer to replace to restore things to normal, when I see all the floods and drama I feel a fraud complaining at all!
