My Albuca nelsonii is in bloom! To be fair, as I've only had it a year I was conservative with it and bought it indoors over the winter and have kept it in a cool room since. I was going to put it into the green house several weeks ago, but then I noticed the flower spike emerging. The flowers are typical in their form of all Albuca species.
So here are the photos.................
With this foliage it's an attractive plant even without a bloom. It's a biggie too!

Not sure if I'm allowed to say, but I got it from Cotswold Garden Flowers last spring - not dear at a fiver (if I remember correctly).
If you're interested in trying the genus I do have spare viable seed for A.shawii and A.humilis. Much smaller plants, and A.shawii could very well be hardy for you. Both are dead easy in pots - just dry out thoroughly at the end of the season and store dry. Both germinate easily too.
Manfredas are one of my favourite groups of plants, i collect all the forms I can find. They tend to be fairly reliable flowers if you can give them a bit of warmth at the start of spring. Maybe another thread for those

Should've guessed from your avatar that you're into succulent type plants!!!
Maybe you could include Beschorneria in that thread too?
If anyone is interested in the seeds pm me. Hate to see them go to waste.
