John is home but VERY sore.

He requests no 'phone calls; it hurts too much to reach for the 'phone!

The other John is staying with him for this week.

He has been told not to do much for 6 weeks, but as he was feeling today, he isn't going to want to do anything for a while.

I hope John begins to feel better soon and will be able to answer the “‘phone”. Chad, you are one of the very few people I know correctly writing the contracted form of telephone! I have a friend who insists on writing ‘bus in a similarly correct way! Embarrassingly, my new tablet doesn’t seem to accept the correct direction of the initial apostrophe in contracted words and I don’t seem to be able to override it :x

Paul I take it you will be at the plant fair. Any one else going?

Sorry to hear about John's accident.

And I didn't know cuneiform used apostrophes anyway!

You going to be there as a punter, Chad? I have some seeds for you.

Most kind Paul,

It looks as if I won't get there at all this year.

Please leave the seeds with Dominic, Rob or Mark, and they will get them to me.

I'll race you to breed one that has red leaves all summer.

Without the apostrophe it is only noise.

Very sorry to hear of John's accident. John - if you're reading I do hope you're on the mend and back in action soon!

There must be something in the air at the moment - a member of my extended family recently fell off a bank and through a greenhouse roof, getting cut very badly and needing hospital treatment.

Looking forward to Sunday, the forecast is looking good.

Ben see you Sunday. The weather was poor today so hopefully summer will return for the plant fair.
