Holboellia.

I bought a plant many year's ago from a nursery in Wales..it was very small and unfortunately I can't recall which variety as it's never flowered despite being over six feet high.
Can anyone tell from the leave details?
I transplanted it from my old garden in September 2019...I think the soil is to dry underneath a large conifer tree and I think I'll transplant it in a few months.

I remember now it was Dr zoltan at jurassic plants where it came from.

It is most likely Holboellia coriacea, the flower buds form very early and they are most likely frosting off which is why you are not seeing flowers, which is a shame as the scent is wonderful. You may find as it gets bigger the top of the plant protects the flowers under. (6' is tiny for one of these by the way!)

The females are like this, flower colour of both sexes varies from seedling to seedling.

Both are carried on the same plant but it is rare for fruit to form without a second unrelated plant to cross pollinate, when you do get fruit (which is edible) it looks like this

Thanks Charlie...I was leaning towards latifolia as the leaves are smaller, I'm not going to tell a granny how to suck egg's though!.
Think it came to me in around 2012/13 so not vigorous in my area.

latifolia has more leaflets, flowers are larger, both sexes look the same and its not so scented
