Perhaps a better title would be "counting ones chickens"!

This is a plant missing from my National collection which I have been so far unsuccessful in tracking down. various gardens that claimed to have one, but on going and actually looking for it found it had gone!

Last Year John passed me seed from Canada he had received but only one seed looked good and that is still sat ungerminated a year on which suggests its not going to try

Some info came out some years back when I started a thread on GOTE http://growingontheedge.net/viewtopic.p ... philageria
But those seedling eventually died off.

Any way I decided last year to have another go and noticed today that I have a seed pod from the cross

By all accounts the original is/was a rubbish plant so maybe this time it may be better
