A strange winter isn't it. The rain cover must really be earning it's money, if it's not been destroyed in one of the gales.

I was able to get it down just before the last lot of gales, but I think some of the elasticated bungies are going to need replacing!

Progress is still slow but the stone work is now finished and chicken house roof is back on, we still call it the chicken house although we no longer keep chickens, rather like the play room in the house - our youngest is 29 :)

At last getting to the sorting out the planting areas stage (which will have to wait as we are about to escape to Tenerife for a couple of weeks!) should start to look better once all the old carpet comes up and we are back to soil

The pile of blocks plus a few more still down in the drive are for another line of posts inboard so I can create bays and maximize planting opportunities for climbers - we have loads of stuff sat in pots :)

Have managed to get the old chicken house weather tight, its now a potting shed/glory hole and the previous roof was only being held up by the mats of ivy around the roofing sheets

At last got to a point where planting can take place! Only 7 months late.

I am hoping the pile of stone will get shifted soon so we can re level and re seed the grass (I have plans for the stone - more of that later in the year!!)
