Just been sent this short Video clip of a Tecomanthe hybrid 'Shannon' (T.hillii and T. dendrophila) Tecomanthe are very popular in warmer parts of the world but I had never really seen one doing its thing like this 8M up a rain forest tree. Garden is in Queensland Australia

It's quite easy to feel jealousy, as we peer out over the frozen wastes of our gardens.......until you realise we don't have any nasties over here like crocs and hooooge spiders and fire ants...... and great white and tiger sharks.....not that you'd find them in your average garden. Also the australian wave has evolved to rid the face of flies. Because of our climate, we also don't have an over zealous customs, so no worries!
