Ended up buying a whole lot more including a selection of unusual mints, Diervilla Diva because I just love the flower to foliage contrast and apparently it’s a magnet for bees so worth it for that alone, Bignonia capreolata, Abutilons Cannington Carol and pictum thompsonii, Hemerocallis Kwanso variegata, Fuchsia paniculata butto cap it all, a fuchsia which I thought was extinct, the elusive Lady in Black.
Good to see Charlie and Liz and to test out how my bladder coped with a day out! Although in hindsight, perhaps I shouldn’t have put those two totally unrelated things in the same sentence.
The trees at Hodnet were, as ever, spectacular.
