Son is presently here indoors using our wifi to do his accounts - so you know its pretty bad! Its been very heavy rain this morning but no sign of the strong winds yet (But at least it has warmed right up)

Just had a prowl around this morning few missing slates, and a couple of missing/smashed sheets of glass in a couple of greenhouses, bit quieter today so maybe can get most of it fixed (I have a large stash of spare greenhouse glass!!)

Good to hear. Hopefully the rest of you will have got off similarly lightly.

Looks like I've lost some seed heads off of the fatsia and some pots have done the rounds in the garden, but otherwise got away unscathed

Glad to hear our forum members weathered this fairly well.

I saw a report from St. Michael's Mount that sounded pretty devastating. We really enjoyed visiting there a couple springs ago...amazing plantings that will be quite different now, by the sounds of it :cry:

Hope Chad's polytunnel stood up to it. I know in the past it has had some damage but these winds this time were on a different level.

I think the far west saw the worst of it but I noticed today all our windows were very dirty and on doing a taste test found it was salt and we are a good few miles from any sea!

Tremenheere has been trashed, no idea of the full extent but apparently nearly all the ancient beeches are over in the valley section, thier rootplates ripping up whatever was near. Alex posted a short reel about it on Instagram which I can't find.
