WINTER PREPARATION

With a forecast for frost nest week I decided to move those tender plants, which spend the warmer months outside, into our porch and into the small cold greenhouse.
The succulents, aeoniums, bromeliads and some ferns went into the porch and the slightly-tender ferns into the cold greenhouse, which is kept at minimum 5 degrees C with an oil-filled electric heater on a thermostat. They are really packed in there as you can see (!) but they get through the winter OK and don't need much watering.
(My main/big greenhouse has the tropical tender ferns which are in there all year, minimum 12-13 degrees C, so no need to move them about!).
