It seems a bit later to happen this spring, seems like it’s been March in other years. No matter, I love the seemingly overnight color change!

And these have just started to color up, next week they should be on Fire! This is a garden I’ve been working on this winter/spring, with a few rain delays as we’ve had a wet winter this year, in fact it is raining again today, as my clients Robert and Karen are on their first day of a 10 day tour of Portugal. I told them my favorite spot was Sintra, which they will be visiting.

Always a treat when the colour up. I've had this clone outside for 20 years - quite a skinny one but certainly tough.



This chunky little fella was my most colourful but I lost in winter '22/23.
