The UK seems currently very cold according to the media. My area has so far not had much in the way of frost. I have been very lucky except typically my greenhouse heater went out on Tuesday night, probably just before I got up on Wednesday morning. (recorded lowest temperature -0.4 C) It was tested last month and started up perfectly earlier in the evening. I have plants like bougainvillea under glass and try to keep them above zero. I am trying to fix the heater but have ordered a replacement.
My back up paraffin heater also played up but will keep me going until the new gas heater arrives. Hopefully the weather will not be too drastic in the coming days.
