Just come across one of the most blatant examples I have seen for a while, take a look at the "Orange" Lapageria picture !

Charlie, reminds me of a catalogue I used to keep being sent years ago, Baaker in Holland I think they were.

Pretty much every flowering plant seemed to have been colour enhanced especially if the flowers was supposed to be blue! It was obviously not the true colour. It is also interesting that still today I see one of their other altered images for Nerine bowdenii being used quite a bit in various offerings. It shows a potted clump of nice leaves replete with lots of mature flower spikes, when every bowdenii I have ever grown..and I have a few, are never in leaf at flowering time, well, if they should have the odd leaf it is a bettered and on its last legs!!

It is so annoying as such tricks just misleading.
