Tortrix Moth Caterpillars

Is it just me or is anyone else plagued with Tortrix moth caterpillars this year. I usually suffer a reasonable amount of damage but this year they are getting out of control. Annoyingly, they love Salvia and anything else from the mint family and now they've decided to have a pop at my Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender'.
Spraying isn't an option in this weather so I'm having to resort to picking the bleeding things off by hand.

Sorry Keith can't help, but I feel your pain! I presume the bio stuff wont work because you can't get the spray and therefore the bacteria onto them as they are protected by the rolled leaves?

Even if it does its stuff the little sods have done their damage and munched through the tender new growth :evil:
There's just so many of them this year though and you can check one day only for them to be there the following morning.
