Went this weekend with my local Hardy Plant group, I had not been before and we were blessed with some lovely weather. Nothing like talking to bunch of gardeners to kick start the year

The Par river, runs clean these days but I can remember a few years back it still ran white with china clay , it is the remains of industry that make the walk. The trees lichens and ferns are lovely but there is nothing to beat some large granite remains, I can see why people got hooked on building "Follies" !
