Just thinking that it is getting to the best time of year for some of the choicer alpines and with the warmer weather we are having in London, I am having to dig mine out of their winter locations and ensure they are watered and not drying out.
With more space I could serious get into alpines and find that I am buying as many alpines as succulents at the moment. I hope to have a few gravel and rock areas in the garden and am thinking of having a crevice garden and also a green roof on the garage. Both of these are likely o be mixed alpine succulent planting.
Not sure you can count the african bulbs in this group but there are some amazing bulbs that I am seriously tempted by as well.
Are there any apline fans on here

I dont have any but always thought if I was forced to have a small garden they would be the way to go there are so many gorgeous plants, for me I would want them raised up, my eyesight's no longer good enough for small stuff at ground level
