Lilium regale

Not the height of exotica, but I'm fond of them. I inadvertently let one of my Lilium regale ripen its seed pods this year - usually I dead-head them to conserve the bulb's reserves - and I now have hundreds of seeds.

If anyone wants some of them, PM me and we can work something out.

I think this sp. is relatively easy to grow from seed, but it does want to be sown now and then be left outdoors through the Winter, so the cold period can break its dormancy. The seeds should germinate next Spring.

Not sure what produces the best results David but I always get a few self sow where I forget to deadhead! so if it were me I would do some now cold but frost free and some in the spring
