Had a late holiday in Cornwall and had an opportunity to visit Tresco, Minack, Trebar all well worth visiting. Need to get around to going through photos, but thought I would start this to remind me to do it.

How did you manage to photoshop the mist away, Chris?
Could hardly see the garden today and haven't seen the sun for a week.

I think you have answered your own question there John, I left Cornwall just over a week ago  What with catching up at work, sorting planning application and making the most of the last of the summer I haven't been sitting at my computer to sort photos, so only just getting around to it.

We got really lucky in week we were there we had two afternoons of heavy rain and the rest of the time was blue sky or light cloud.

How did you get over to tresco chris? I thought the helicopter stopped and the boat took hours to get there.

Hi Mark, yes the helicopter has stopped which is a shame, you can still fly to the main island and then it is a 20minute ferry across to Tresco. The in-laws were staying on st Marys for the week, so we got the ferry over mid week and had a few days exploring various islands before heading back. We got very lucky with the weather considering the forecast and only had one afternoon with any rain at all while on the Scillies and then one afternoon of rain while exploring the southern part of cornwall.

Lovely pics! The best garden I have ever visited! Shame its so expensive to do now, dont suppose a day trip is that feasible now the helicopters have packed up
