As a reverse to the always being tempted by new and exotic names it often surprises me how good common hardy plants can be, this common pea is seen from our kitchen window and as a bonus the white does not seem to mark in the rain!

That's very true! Added bonus of naff all love required except for an annual chop. Inherited this one when I moved in and it's a good performer in the shady top area of the garden.
