echeveria compton carousel

Echeveria "compton carousel" is one of the more sort after echeverias, being a variegated form of e. secunda (glauca).

It should be a lot more widely available, given like most secundas they offset quite freely (if you know the usual tricks).

Mind you they do have a habit of suddenly rotting for no apparent reason.
The common view is that plants formed on variegated leaves will not be variegated. I always like to test these things out, so tried a few leaves, one of which produced this new plant:

I am hoping with the green leaves on one side, it may just have some hope of surviving. If it does I will have to name it e. "ghost of comptons carousel"
