A Day out, first stop!

In order to beat the Saturday holiday traffic we had decided to leave Cornwall early on Saturday morning heading up the motorway to Birmingham Botanic for Sundays plant sale. This meant we had plenty of time to kill so we made a number of detours and stops along the way.
First to see Nick Macer at Pan Global Plants, always enjoy poking around his tunnels, and looking to see what is flourishing in his garden area.

Interesting to see the Lonicera pilosa below quite happy on a fence not even on a wall, which answers my question re hardiness!

I love Pan Global Plants, anywhere that grows a lot of their own plants, and has a garden to show things planted out is worth visiting. Haven't been in a while though so good to see photos of it again.

I've been there three times and am much farther away, so neither of you have any excuses! What you need to do is plan a holiday to the Cotswolds and then take yourself off for a few hours (or most of the day) to visit both PGP and CGF. ;)
