It is time to get something more permanent up as a forum banner and thought I would throw it out here as it is an excuse to post your favourite photo. Not sure what others think, but I was hoping to have a few that we could rotate.

Photos can be of individual plants, photoshoped compositions of plants or pictures of exciting borders. If you want to add the text on top you are free to play around with that as well.

I can crop to size or let you have the dimensions here if you want. But to start with lets see some your favourite photos.

here is one of mine. (I feel it also belongs on the plant porn website  )

Chris - that is gorgeous and would be fine for the banner - I don't have anything that splendid - so go for it unless someone has something better!

Thanks, I was quite proud of it  .

Longk, like the water lily, sure I can do something with that. There a few on your flickr page that I could use .

As I said I hope to get a series of images that we can use. It would be good to get photos from each area of interest for the forum,

It is just the macro setting on the camera, but it works well. One thing i found when using it was to turn the pixels up to maximum and be a bit further away. Then crop the image to the area you want to be super close up. I get better results that way than trying to zoom all the way in to take the photo.

Testing it out on the actual banner, the grey is not quite right, but not far off. It is a start.

I think it my be too wide, If anyone has any problems can they let me know, the search should be to the right, not above the banner.
