Hoya flowering

I thought I'd share my two Hoyas flower at the moment, a beautiful scent.

Excellent pictures of a dangerously addictive genus.
I don't know my way around the genus.
Are they Hoya wayetii and carnosa ?

Whilst you are at it Chad, can you ID mine? It was given to me years ago so don’t suppose it’s anything more than a regular species but I’ve never gone into this genus. I can’t tell much difference between many of them! What I do know is that it has been very tolerant of the cold. It just scrambles its way across the greenhouse.

I wrote I didn't know the genus Martin because I don't.
It is a vast and mainly tropical genus; Kew recognise
567 species.
That said, even without your picture I would suggest Hoya carnosa on the other information you give.

That’s good enough for me Chad. I’ve just looked it up and cultivation temperatures vary wildly. What I can say is that it has been in my greenhouse for 8 years and I only bought a heater for last winter. Therefore it has been subjected to temperatures quite well below zero in the past (I had a barrel with water lilies within and that froze!) and it has never flinched. Based on this, I wonder if in places like coastal Cornwall it could be grown as a wall climber? It would certainly make a spectacular, exotic and unexpected outdoor climber.

I have the carnosa that flowers often as well plus a variegated variety , hard to kill these!!!

I can see I need to build yet more walls! Never thought to try one out side but you are quite right I dont heat any greenhouses and its been fine these last 40 year (I am embarrassed to say still in it original pot!!)

They like being potbound, on the whole, so they're happy with a bit of neglect.
