Savill Plant fair and gardens

Post by Chrisg »

A few of us went to the plant fair at Savill Gardens on Saturday. It was more crowded than I had seen it before was a bit hectic by the time we had finished, so very pleased we turned up early.

Shopping over it was into the gardens for a look around. Everything is way behind where it normally is,

There was a family of moorhens about with very young chicks.

It was good to see everyone again.

Yep arisaema was top of my list, and a little agave striata "nana".

There wasn't a must have this year in terms of everyone buying the same thing.

No, I didn't see any real must-haves this year. I almost felt like I was buying plants just to be polite, or at least to justify going.

We really enjoyed the walk around the gardens though. I'm glad I got the oportunity to go in at long last. Shame it turned a bit nippy though.

It did turn a bit cold at times, you should have done more running around, was a very good way to keep warm
