The most interesting thing in my pond Charlie was a mass frog orgy a couple of months back. Despite the best efforts of the local Mallard (who love frogspawn) and Crow population we still have a very healthy shoal? of tadpoles.
My lilies are way behind yours, just pushing up the first leaves, no sign of flowers yet.

My wildlife pond is in desperate need of a clear out. Once the dragonfly and damsel fly larvae have left home I'll get on with it

Camassia and Darmera flowering on the edge of the larger pond. No amphibious life here down to the presence of grass snakes.

The Thalia dealbata is just beginning to stick it's head above the water. My water lilies are also way behind Charlie's.

Yet your Thalia is miles ahead (and better!) go figure? as the Americans like to say

seeing your Camassia shows why I never got mine to do anything other than show and then die each spring. It seems the dry bed may not have been perfect for it.
