I have been asked by Rod White to investigate a plant of this apparently growing on one of the walls of the car park at Trellisick, I have not ever come across the name before. I intend going down with the dog next week to take a look (Once the van is mended!) Anyone aware of it/know anything about it?

And, wouldn't you know it, it has changed its name to Nekemias chaffanjonii

What chance do us mere mortals have if they keep changing names! and is it only me that finds they always seem to be harder to pronounce than the old names!! anyway it sounds intriguing so I will go and look

Some pictures from Trellisick, no sign of flowers, rather a handsome thing

I notice the RHS (Plant Finder) has stuck to Ampelopsis chaffanjonii but it is not available under either name! - I assume its is still John Lanyon that is in overall charge down there?
