Tregrehan in Cornwall: advance notice of Plant Fair.

Post by Chad »

Tom Hudson at Tregrehan has just let me know that plans are afoot for the world famous Tregrehan Plant Fair to be on Sunday June 6th 2021.

It is a bit tentative at the moment and will depend on Government Covid rules at the time.

But planning is a good start!

Paul,

I have a Tropaeolum [probably not] smithii propagated specifically for you.

I also have one 'spare' Ficus auriculata, but that will be £60, or I could 'hold it back' and cut it up for cuttings so by Tremenheere I should have several for a lot less dosh. Which would you prefer?

Chad - probably best to slice and dice for Tremenheere. Trying to cut back on spending after buying next door! :D

And thank you, btw, for propping the nasturtium. Looks lovely.

Chad - do you have Verbesina microptera? Giant herbaceous daisy, looks rather like Montanoa in leaf, winged stems. Makes 3 maybe 4m. Flowers late.

I know of it, have germinated it, but not got it to stay alive.

Have you got one to swap?
