Whats the feeling? after may 17th it will be legal, Liz and I have now had both doses of vaccine so we are feeling pretty gung ho! but how about the rest of you?

If it warms up a bit outdoors it should be fine but it would be good to be able to retreat undercover if the weather turns. we can do as before with tea but I think by then we will be allowed to serve teas outdoors

Anyway let me know, We are open Tuesday and Wednesday PM so the are good days for us here

I get my second jab on June 1st and am nervous about Tregrehan on June 6th.

I'll be up for socialising after that, although I SHOULD wait for three weeks, if I've done Tregrehan I've rather cast my lot.

Second jab in 4 weeks and, barring any catastrophes this end, will be headed across the country for Tregrehan. I'll be driving down Friday, staying with Mark and 'helping' :lol: Going round Tremenheere on Saturday pm with Neil, shopping Saturday am if I get down in time. Not sure if Tom will be doing his post event walk - doubt it - in which case I'll probably head back east on Sunday pm. That doesn't leave much time for socialising but I guess we can all chat at Tom's. I am really looking forward to it - another step closer to some kind of normality.

I might be heading down first/second week of June, I have coin Charlie!

Wow, poverty is not a word common in the Cornish dictionary, is it?
Prices for a three night stay pretty much anywhere means I won't be able to eat, or buy fuel for the rest of the year!
I'm familiar with the workings of supply and demand....but wow!

We are due our second jabs on Saturday so free to relax socially by the end of the month.

For the likes of Travelodge, if there is any way you can
come midweek and not include a weekend then three nights is half the price.

I've just been checking prices, and Cornwall currently is hugely more expensive than London!

Hence the bruise on my chin after kicking it when my jaw dropped!

Well for obvious reasons I have not looked to see what the going rate was! I did however think our local pub which does not have a great reputation but did refurbish its rooms a couple of years ago might be a good price - I now see what you mean flounder!! £100 per night

Problem is, everyone and their budgie will be holidaying in England(and Cornwall!) this year, so they bump the price and as long as people will pay the inflated prices, they will continue to charge them.
