How hardy is that Phymosia umbellata? It's a bit of a gem!

Lophospermum erubescens...................

Phymosia I regard as a bit of a risk outside, needs a wall behind really, probably similar to Lavatera maritima in hardiness

I've had a good crop of pumpkins this year. The blue/green ones are Queensland Blue and are really good eaters. They store well and should last through to the early spring. The biggest came in at 16 lb's (or 7.3kg for you younger ones :lol: ).

Chad, looks like the Marsdenia has settled in, did you get flowers this year? I love the orange of the Psuedogynoxys chenopodioides, I thought I may have lost it last winter, mild and wet seemed less to its liking than cold and dry.

By the by you should have issued health warnings for the Tropaeolum tricolor and pentaphylla they grow like crazy, got back from our two weeks away and they are into everything and the stems and leaves so fine I am terrified to try and re route them.

The Marsednia flowered in the early summer [and then defoliated with red spider mite]. It is flowering again now.

T.pentaphyllum has already made 10ft of growth here!. I haven't watered the tricolor yet so it hasn't started.
