It looks like Pelargonium papilionaceum, but to call its leaves 'scented' would be very polite.

They have quite a strong stench though. Not a floral scent at all.

What was the scent like Martin?

When I got it from Steve mules at lower Kennedy he described it as goat scented! I have a picture of it on Tresco 20 feet tall with trunks like a small tree

That’s interesting Charlie. I really liked it and have just added myself on to a waiting list. Great that it can grow so tall in which case it must look impressive. I’ve just found one site describing it as lemon scented (and I get that, though others clearly don’t, aroma perception being an odd thing) and able to withstand temps down to -5!
