This is for Stephanie if you're looking in. A feminine double called New Orleans Lady which is supposed to have one of the best fragrances of any Brugmansia. It is like baked lemon cookies I suppose, very nice, and my wife is happy to have a feminine looking Brug. Here she is

Yes I love that elinor, very nice.

All of mine are really struggling to get going, all I seem to do is cut out the die back this year, never had problems with them before.

Brugs were one of my favourite plants but Im losing it with them this time around.

They are looking good I also like Elinor :mrgreen: Its a shame Alan packed up doing the forums.

Alan has had some health issues, but he's slowly coming back. I'm always nagging at him, and hopefully after his next op he will back on form again.

Hurstwood Elinor in full flush

This a Lucifer, a cream Aurea hybrid. Great waxy blooms that last for days

and lastly, the yellow Aurea which looks pretty good against the evening sky

I have to ask Wayne, your flowers always look perfect but don't you get wind damage? I have flowers but the edges are brown due to them being continually bashed, trouble is they don't really like being left in under glass either
