What's the best time to dig an established clump to split and move them?

My gut feeling is to treat them the same as the rest of the Crocosmia (?) subfamily and do it in the autumn. Always best to get rid of old soft corms before the winter is my thinking.

Nice problem to have though. I'm finding them so slow from seed.
